Surface Standard 11 refresher - 100% online
Get your standard 11 refreshed online. No travel & no waiting around for certification
Already hold your Standard 11 and need to renew it? Our online Surface Refresher keeps your qualification current so you can stay on site.
The refresher updates your knowledge of mine safety protocols, risk management, hazard identification, emergency response and site safety procedures, in line with current Queensland coal mining requirements.
New to mining? You'll need the full Standard 11 Surface course instead.
Under Section 84(1) of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulation 2017, every coal mine worker must complete Standard 11 refresher training at least once every five years. If your Statement of Attainment is due for renewal, you'll need a refresher to keep working on site.
Core Crew Training (RTO 45671) delivers the Standard 11 Surface refresher 100% online. Work through the course at your own pace, finish with a short video session with one of our trainers, and receive your updated Statement of Attainment the same day.
The refresher is $400, with Afterpay and Klarna available. New to mining? You'll need the full Standard 11 Surface course ($600) instead.
about this course
Who is the Surface Standard 11 refresher for?
Experienced surface mine workers whose Standard 11 is approaching its five-year renewal or has recently lapsed.
FIFO and DIDO workers who want to renew between rosters rather than give up days off for a classroom course.
Workers returning to mining after a break who still hold a Standard 11 Statement of Attainment within the eligible timeframe.
Employers and site operators keeping crews compliant without pulling workers off site for training days.
